Honestly don't where Rob Zombie came from, but it's not Salem.*

He did film parts of “The Lords of Salem” in town, but he's not from there. 

If you're into horror flicks (what do you mean no one says flicks anymore?!) The Lords of Salem follows a Salem DJ who receives a mysterious vinyl record from an unknown band called "The Lords." Playing it unleashes visions of Salem's dark witch trial past and awakens an ancient Satanic coven, leading to her descent into madness, demonic possession.
